DONNA JEAN KENNEDY GEDDINGS
Donna Jean Kennedy Geddings, 71, wife of Henry W. "Sonny" Geddings Jr., died on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
Born on May 30, 1949, in Lake City, she was a daughter of the late Leon Jr. and Zella Story Kennedy. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and retired from Apex Tools.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years; a son, William Glenn Geddings of Sumter; a brother, Leon Kennedy III (Susan) of Jasper, Georgia; and two sisters, Shirley Cryer of Boaz, Alabama, and Janice Kennedy of Columbia.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Fraser officiating.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Ward, Andrew Ward, Hans Swygert, Ronnie Turner and Derrick Geddings.
The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
