DEACON PURDY PARSON

MANNING - Deacon Purdy Parson, 81, widow of Yvonne Saunders Parson, died on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020, at his residence.

He was born on Sept. 23, 1939, in Summerton, a son of the late Jimmie and Fannie Richburg Parson.

Graveside services for Deacon Parson will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church, 1130 Granby Lane, Summerton, with the Rev. Dr. W.T. Johnson, pastor, officiating.

These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
