Graveside services for David Earl Alston will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church cemetery, 7355 Camden Highway, Rembert, SC 29128 with the Rev. Anthony Taylor officiating.

He was born on July 7, 1969, in Sumter, to Lillie D. McLaurin and the late Robert Alston Jr.

He departed this life on Sunday, May 9, 2021, in Rembert.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a daughter, Destini Jenay Lillie Alston; his mother, Lillie D. McLaurin; three sisters, Sylvia Alston (Shawn Blanding), Valerie D. Alston and Denise McLaurin Raimey; his grandmother, Queen M. Dennis; 14 aunts; three uncles; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.

The family is receiving friends at 4040 Furman Field Road, Rembert. Please use COVID-19 protocols.
