David Dawson, 77, son of the late Julius Dawson Sr. and Lucille Sanders Dawson, was born on Dec. 5, 1946, in Sumter County. He departed this life on Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter.
Family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, 4285 Furman Field Road, Rembert, daily from 1 to 6 p.m.
Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
