Darlington-Lee Adult Education Center will hold open house for the public Thursday afternoon

The Darlington-Lee Adult Education Center, 123 College St. in Bishopville, is hosting an open house on Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m.

DLCAE Site Manager Wanda Govan said the entire Lee County community is invited to attend. The goal is to introduce others to the latest health science offerings at the center and provide information for attendees to take back into their communities to share.

This past school term has consisted of the addition of a night and feeding program and a childcare center, so there is much to share, according to Govan.

Upcoming registration drives are: Oct. 22-24; Nov. 19-21; Jan. 7-9, 2020; Feb. 4-6; March 3-5; and March 31-April 2. Individuals must attend all three days of the registration to be eligible for participation. Be prepared to remain at the site from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day.
