There will be two chances in the next week to get a COVID-19 vaccine in Lee County.
On Friday, March 25, there will be a clinic open at Lee Central Middle School, 41 Charlenes Lane in Bishopville, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Thursday, March 31, a clinic will be open at Lower Lee Elementary School, 5142 St. Charles Road in Mayesville, also from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Attendees 5-11 can receive their first or second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Attendees 12+ can receive either their first, second or booster dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Attendees 18+ can receive either their first, second or booster dose of the Moderna vaccine.
According to state public health data, 56% of eligible Lee County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, in comparison to 76% nationally.
