CODY G. DAVIS
Cody Green Davis, 65, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital, Manning.
She was born Dec. 25, 1945, in Greenville, N.C.
Survivors include her companion, John Bowman of the home; four daughters of Baltimore, Md.; four grandchildren, all of Baltimore; four brothers; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, in the chapel of Summerton Funeral Service, officiated by Elder Berna Green with Minister Joenathan Green assisting. Burial followed in the Summerton Funeral Service cemetery.
John Bowman, her companion, received friends at 1042 Lewis St., Summerton.

DAVID DuBOSE
David "Charles" DuBose, 53, husband of Kim A. Bishop DuBose, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.
Born in Manning, he was a son of the late Carles and Petunia Hodge DuBose. Mr. DuBose was employed as a truck driver for Clark's Transportation.
Surviving are his wife of Sumter; two stepsons, Kevin Williamson and wife, Crystal, of Sumter and Travis Beauvais of California; two brothers, Stanley DuBose of Sumter and Sammy DuBose of Greenville; one sister, Carlette Howell and husband, Martin, of Rembert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilson Geddings; a sister, Alice Walker; and a nephew, Brian Howell.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. James Scarborough officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service and other times at the home, 4940 Old Stone Road.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to them in care of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
