Graveside services for Clyde Boatwright will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 705 W. Huggins St., Manning.

A public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today.

He was born on June 4, 1954, in Manning, to the late Edmond and Mary Anna Green Boatwright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Leroy Boatwright, Terrance Boatwright, John Boatwright, Eddie Lee Boatwright and Edmond Boatwright Jr.; and three sisters, Hattie Turner, Mary Osborne Boatwright and Josephine Boatwright.

He departed this life on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Patricia Boatwright; six sons, Clyde Jones, Eulas (Latrice) Boatwright, Philip (Yadi) Boatwright, Troy (Tunisha) Boatwright, Danny (Gabriella) Boatwright and Tedwood (Melissa) Boatwright; stepmother, Mary Jane Belser Boatwright; adopted son, Dwain Johnson; two brothers, James (Alicia) Boatwright and George (Audrey) Boatwright; six sisters, Daisy (Alfred) Pearson, Runette (Buster) Eady, Anna Benjamin, Gloria McKnight, Janet Belser and Vertina Boatwright; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
