Clarendon County Sheriff's Office asks for help finding runaway teen

TURBEVILLE – The Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating a runaway teenager.

Jareon Jackson, 16, was last seen around 9:30 p.m. Monday, May 1, at the Turbeville Children’s Home, 5232 Turbeville Highway. Jackson is 5 feet  7 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black shirt the last time he was seen. He may be riding a bicycle.

According to the CCSO, Jackson is in the custody of the South Carolina Department of Social Services, the agency who placed the teenager at the Turbeville facility.

This isn’t the first time that Jackson has run away. He ran away from the TCH less than a week ago.
