Senior Farmers Market schedule

CLARENDON COUNTY - Main Street Manning announces the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program schedule for June 2025.

From 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., each location will be offering vouchers on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

On Monday, June 9, the location will be Turbeville Town Hall.

On Tuesday, June 10, the location will be Paxville Senior Center.

On Wednesday, June 11, the location will be Summerton Senior Center, and on June 12, the location will be Vision by Design Inc.

Men's Expo June 28

MANNING - Clarendon County Healthy Counties Advisory Council is hosting a Men's Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, in the Clarendon County Community Complex's gymnasium, 13 Maple St. The expo will feature free health screenings.

Farmers Market opens on June 14

MANNING -The Manning Farmers Market at the corner of Church and Boyce streets will begin opening each Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon beginning June 14.

The market will feature a variety of locally and regionally grown fruit and vegetables.

Applications to become a vendor at the market are available at Manning City Hall, 29 W. Boyce St. Vendors will be added as slots become available.

Unity on the Hardwood Alumni Basketball Game

MANNING - Unity on the Hardwood Alumni Basketball Game between Scott's Branch alumni and Manning Monarchs alumni will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, in the Manning Elementary School gymnasium, 311 W. Boyce St.

The doors for the alumni game will open at 1 p.m.

Early bird tickets are $10. Game day admission will be $15. Children 5 and under are admitted free. Tickets are available at 2025Unity.Eventbrite.com.

Spectators are asked rep your school colors. There will be a DJ, halftime performances and concessions.

Inspire Me presents Juneteenth Festival on June 18

NEW ZION - Inspire Me is presenting the Gospel in the Park Juneteenth Festival from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 18, at Walker Gamble Park, 2358 Walker Gamble Road.

The festival will feature community partners, a live DJ, food trucks and games for the kids.

Food Trucks in the Park will be held each Wednesday

MANNING - Food Trucks in the Park, sponsored by the Clarendon County Recreation Department, will be held every Wednesday beginning June 18 through July 30 at J.C. Britton Park, 3057 Raccoon Road.

Truck vendor times will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. The park will be open from sunrise to sunset for your enjoyment.

Bring a chair, claim a seat under one of the shelters, relax outdoors, and enjoy delicious meals from local food trucks.

'Marching Together' Juneteenth Parade and Festival on June 19

SUMMERTON - Lighthouse Foundation of South Carolina and the Clarendon Community Partners are sponsoring Marching Together "A Legacy of Strength. A Future of Promise!" on Thursday, June 19, on Railroad Avenue.

The parade lineup will be at 3:30 p.m. with the parade starting at 4:30 p.m.

The downtown festival will be held from 3-8 p.m. with live entertainment, food vendors, food trucks and lots more.
