Harvin Clarendon County Library Board to meet May 17

MANNING - The Harvin Clarendon County Library Board will meet at 4:30 p.m. May 17 at the Clarendon County Administration Building, 411 Sunset Drive.

The meeting will also be available via Zoom with Meeting ID: 839 7707 2644 and password: 716455.

The board will review financial reports for March and April 2021 as well as a draft budget for fiscal year 2021-22. Under new business, the board will receive an update to library services related to COVID-19 and an update to the Employee Sick Leave Policy.

Free COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic is on May 20 in Gable

GABLE - The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control is hosting a free COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic beginning at 9:30 a.m. on May 20 at Melina Presbyterian Church, 3539 Black River Road.

All South Carolinians ages 18 and older are eligible for this clinic.

No ID, insurance or appointment is required.

Sumter Clarendon Virtual Heart Walk is on May 22

The American Heart Association is hosting the 2021 Sumter Clarendon Virtual Heart Walk on May 22.

The AHA is encouraging everyone to walk where they are, in their neighborhoods, at their church, in a park and with their friends and families.
