Clarendon County School District Summer Feeding Program

MANNING - The Clarendon County School District Summer Feeding Program is sponsored by the district's Office of Student Nutrition.

No-charge breakfast and lunch will be available for all children ages 18 and younger. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All food must be consumed on site. Sites are:

- Dr. Rose H. Wilder Elementary Cafeteria, 9297 Alex Harvin Highway, Summerton;

- Manning Elementary School Cafeteria, 311 W. Boyce St., Manning;

- Manning Early Childhood Center Cafeteria, 2759 Raccoon Road, Manning;

- Manning High School Cafeteria, 2155 Paxville Highway, Manning; and

- East Clarendon Middle and High School Cafeteria, 1171 Pope St., Turbeville.

Co-Ed Kickball League begins June 11, registration deadline is June 3

MANNING - A new Co-Ed Kickball League will begin games at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in June. The first game will be held on June 11.

Team registration is $250. Registration fee is due by Monday, June 3. Players must be 18 years old by June 1, 2024.

Church Softball League begins June 10

MANNING - A church softball league will begin play at 6 p.m. Monday, June 10, at J.C. Britton Park, 3057 Raccoon Road.

Games will be held on Mondays and Thursdays at the park.

Registration is by team only and will be $250 per team. Payment is due on Monday, June 3. Players must be 18 years old by June 1, 2024.

Clarendon County Craft Club meets each Friday

MANNING - The Clarendon County Craft Club meets from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Friday in the classroom at the Clarendon County Community Center, 10 Maple St., behind Weldon Auditorium. The cost to participate is $2.

Men's Expo Free Health Screenings will be available June 29

MANNING - Clarendon County Healthy Counties Advisory Council in partnership with HopeHealth and McLeod Health Clarendon will hold Men's Expo Free Health Screenings from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, June 29, at the Clarendon County Community Complex gym that is behind Weldon Auditorium.

The event is free. The health screenings are free and light refreshments will be provided.
