Clarendon 2022 Christmas Card Contest

Students from schools across Clarendon County competed in the 2022 Christmas Card Contest sponsored by the Clarendon County Recreation Department. This year's winning entry was designed by Winter Welch, far left, who is a fifth-grade student at Walker-Gamble Elementary School. Four other students received honorable mentions: Franchesca Castro, second from left, a third-grade student at WGES; Emmett Dulin, second from right, a third-grade student at Manning Primary School; and Aniyah Conyers, far right, a fifth-grade student at Manning Elementary School. Alayna Graham, not pictured, a fourth-grade student at WGES, also received an honorable mention in the contest. Welch won a blue ribbon and a $25 Walmart gift certificate. Each honorable mention winner received a green ribbon and $5 cash prize.
