Church Women United of the Greater Sumter area celebrate friendship

Church Women United of the Greater Sumter area turned out with friends recently for a “Friendship Photo” on the property of the YWCA of the Upper Lowlands Inc. on Church Street in Sumter. May Friendship Day arrives Thursday, May 6, (on some calendars, Friday, May 7) to celebrate the gifts of women and express the movement’s unity in Christ.  Church Women United-Sumter unit (CWU-Sumter) is pleased to be a sponsor of Sumter’s YWCA and many other local helping agencies.

CWU-Sumter invites and welcomes the participation of all area churches seeing the goodness of bringing representative church women together in fellowship, worship and service to the community.  As a non-profit, CWU-Sumter gratefully receives individual or church contributions.  Donations may be sent to CWU-Sumter Unit, P.O.
