CHARLES W. GREENE

GREELEYVILLE - Charles W. Greene, 76, husband of Mazie Wallace Greene, died on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence.

He was born on March 9, 1947, in the Foreston section of Manning, a son of the late Rev. Willie Greene Sr. and Sarah B. Murray Greene.

Public viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Pine Grove AME Church, Greeleyville, with the Rev. Harvey Doctor, pastor, officiating, Evangelist Shirley Waiters presiding and Elder Kenneth Murray and the Rev. Elouise Pompey assisting. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
