Funeral service for Charles E. Sweat will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the chapel of Whites Mortuary, 517 N. Guignard Drive, Sumter.
A public viewing will be held from noon until the hour of service on Tuesday.
Charles was born on Aug. 19, 1951, in Clarendon County, to the late Wesley Sweat and Ethel Benbow Sweat Johnson.
Charles departed this life on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in Sumter.
The family is receiving friends from 3 to 8 p.m. daily at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Roosevelt Sinkler, 8905 S.C. 261 South, Pinewood. Please use COVID-19 protocols when visiting the home.
