CHARLES CANTY

Charles "C.C" Canty, 62, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2020. He was born Feb. 10, 1958, in Savannah, Georgia, the son of the late James and Edith Leneau Canty.

Canty was a 1977 graduate of Furman High School. He was a faithful member of Union Station AME Church.

Those left to cherish his memories: two sisters, Roberta (Woodrow) Hastie and Sandra (Frederick) Murphy; one aunt, Pamela Gibson; five nieces, Shanna, Sarah, Ashlee, Ava and Trinity; one nephew, Sherman; two grandnephews, Zaylen and Mason; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held today from 4 to 6 p.m. at Kingdom Builders Ministries, 621 W. Liberty St., Sumter.

Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday at Neal Cemetery, U.S. 15 S., Sumter, SC 29154, with the Rev. Lemuel Washington, officiating.

Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg is in charge of arrangements.
