Central Carolina Technical College walked away with plenty of hardware at a recent national educational marketing awards event.

CCTC's marketing and communications department earned three gold and three silver awards at the ninth Annual Educational Digital Marketing Awards held in Atlanta, Georgia, according to a college news release.

Entries were received from colleges, universities and independent high schools from across the country.

More than 1,000 entries were received in total and 222 institutions won gold awards and 125 schools took silver awards, the release said.

Central Carolina's gold awards came for its college website directory, a CCTC website update and a digital display ad for fall enrollment 2021.

CCTC's silver awards came for an online digital display ad, the college's Employed Titans Social Media Campaign and a fall enrollment digital marquee message.

In the contest, Central Carolina competed against four-year institutions - including Clemson University, Auburn University and N.C. State University - and other smaller colleges across the country.

Judges consisted of a national panel of education marketers, advertising creative directors, and marketing and advertising professionals.
