CECIL R. MURPHY

Cecil R. Murphy, 79, husband of Janie L. Stukes Murphy and son of the late Ruby Lee Dickerson, was born on May 7, 1942, in Wade, North Carolina. He departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, at MUSC Kershaw Health Medical Center in Camden.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 803 S. Harvin St., Sumter, SC 29150, with Pastor Marion H. Newton officiating and the Rev. Tiji Murphy Santiago eulogist.
