CATHY SINGLETON MCDONALD

Cathy Singleton McDonald, 61, widow of Michael McDonald and daughter of Julius Rembert and Ruthie Mae Sinkler Canty and the late Freddie Canty Sr., was born on March 11, 1964, in Sumter. She departed this life on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, Columbia.
Public viewing will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 2-6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.
Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with the Rev. Hanford Scott Jr., pastor and eulogist.
Interment will follow in Beulah-Haynesworth Cemetery, Sumter.
Family will receive friends at 756 S. St. Pauls Church Road, Sumter, daily from 3-9 p.m.
