CARLENE ADAMS

TURBEVILLE - Carlene Evelyn Mills Adams, age 62, of Miami Lakes, Fla., died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011.

Born in Dade County, Fla., she was a daughter of Faye Dennis Mills and the late Ralph Harrison Mills Jr. She was a sales clerk in retail window sales. She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Charlie Adams.

Surviving are her mother of Turbeville; a daughter, Rebecca (Mike) Abbattista of Penbrooke Pines, Fla.; a son, John Adams of Miami; a sister, Eldreda (Don) Matthews of Ocala, Fla.; three grandchildren, Priscilla Adams of Sebring, Fla., and Jonathan and Brittany Adams of Biscayne Park, Fla.; and a special friend, Charles Adams of Miami Springs, Fla.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, at Olive Grove Free Will Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Services were directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta.
