LANDER UNIVERSITY

GREENWOOD - Lander University has announced the names of 125 undergraduate students who have been named to the Freshman Honor Roll for earning top academic achievements during the first semester of the 2020-21 school year.

The Freshman Honor Roll recognizes students who have earned less than 30 credit hours and have achieved a GPA of 3.00-3.49 during their first year of study at the university.

Amya Tindal of Sumter was named to the Freshman Honor Roll.

NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY

BOSTON, Massachusetts - Northeastern University is pleased to recognize those students who distinguish themselves academically during the course of the school year. Sumter resident Olivia Hilferty was recently named to the university's Dean's List for the fall semester, which ended in December 2020.

To achieve the Dean's List distinction, students must carry a full program of at least four courses, have a grade-point average of 3.5 or greater out of a possible 4.0 and carry no single grade lower than a C- during the course of their college career. Each student receives a letter of commendation and congratulation from their college dean.

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA AIKEN

AIKEN - The University of South Carolina Aiken congratulates those students who made the Dean's List for fall.

To earn this distinction, students must be enrolled full-time and maintain a GPA of at least 3.5.
