Sumter native cadets receive official U.S. Army branch

On Wednesday, the U.S. Army Central assistant chief of staff, Brig. Gen. Henry Dixon, G3, was the keynote speaker for the University of South Carolina ROTC branch ceremony. During the ceremony, cadets received their official U.S. Army branch. The professor of military science is a Dalzell native who once served in USARCENT, and the two cadets are Sumter natives.
