BRENDA WRIGHT PONTIUS

Brenda Wright Pontius, 71, wife of James E. Pontius, died on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at her home.

Born in Washington, D.C., she was a daughter of the late Raymond H. and Edna Ricketts Wright. Mrs. Pontius was a retired jewelry manager with Sam's Club in Pennsylvania.

Surviving are her husband of Sumter; one daughter, Lisa Pontius; one son, Tim Pontius (Kim); three grandchildren, Brandon Ferguson (Nancy), Tyler Pontius and Victoria Pontius; one brother, Raymond H. Wright Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at her home, 45 Killarney Lane, Sumter, SC 29150 with Father Giovannie Nunez, CRM officiating.
