Bishopville vaccine event participants have chance to win a TV or laptop

Only 41% of eligible Lee County residents have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, in comparison to 72% nationally, according to state public health data, and people who haven't gotten their shot have the chance to do so today.
The In It to Win It campaign will be at Bethlehem United Methodist Church today, Aug. 25, between 9 a.m. and noon, 115 W. Church St., Bishopville, SC 29010. The event is a partnership between the state Department of Education and state Department of Health and Environmental Control.
Adults 18+ will be able to receive the Moderna vaccine. Recipients will be entered to win a TV or laptop. Attendees can receive either their first or second dose of the Moderna vaccine.
