BILLY D. DAVIS

Billy D. Davis, 80, widower of Barbara Jean Chandler Davis, died on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at his home.

Born on Nov. 8, 1940, in Sumter County, he was a son of the late J.C. and Irene Anderson Davis. Mr. Davis retired from Sumter County Department of Public Works.

Survivors include a brother, Howard Davis (Carol) of Sumter; and a stepdaughter, Kathy Ray McLeod (Henry) of Pinewood.

A private burial will be held at the Pinewood Cemetery.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
