BEVERLY ANN RANKINS

Beverly Ann Rankins, 44, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston.

Born Jan. 5, 1966, in Jersey City, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Elton J. Rankins and Beaulah Mack. She attended Jersey City public schools. She joined Light Cathedral Non-Denominational Church, Orangeburg.

Surviviors include daughter, Maria Rankins of Manning; two sons, John Rankins and Talin Rankins, both of Manning; one sister, Cheryl Rankins of Manning; two brothers, Ernest Lee Mack of Jersey City and Ulysses Mack of Columbia; two grandchildren; and her companion James Servvance Jr. of Manning.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 9, at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald A. Graham Sr. presiding. Burial followed in Society Hill AME Church cemeter.

The family received friends at the home of her daughter, Maria Rankins, 120 Bradham Ave., Manning.
