BARBARA JEAN CHANDLER DAVIS

Barbara Jean Chandler Davis, 82, wife of Billy D. Davis, died on Tuesday June 8, 2021, at Lexington Community Hospice House-Agape Care in Lexington.

Born on Jan. 10, 1939, in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Chandler and Lena McElveen Marshall. She retired from Campbell Soup Co.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her daughter, Kathy Ray McLeod (Henry) of Pinewood; two granddaughters, Kelly Brown (Eric) and Kristen Wright (Randy); and four great-grandchildren, Ansley Wright, Laney Wright, Karley Brown and Kourtney Brown.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Pinewood Cemetery with the Rev. Allan Glass officiating.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
