Around Town: Sumter Little Theatre to present "God of Carnage"

A musical duo that plays more than 10 genres of music using the violin, Sons of Mystro will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, at the Sumter Opera House, 21 N. Main St. Born to a Barbadian mother and Jamaican father, brothers Malcolm and Umoja honed their violin-playing skills in the south Florida school system and now tour and share their reggae style music with the world. The 10th Annual Barbecue Cook-Off benefiting Boy Scouts of America will be held Friday-Saturday, March 24-25, at the Sumter County Fairgrounds Agricultural Building, 700 W.
