ANTIONETTA MARY ALONGE

Antionetta Mary Alonge, 77, died on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, at NHC Healthcare.

Born on Sept. 27, 1943, in Naples, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Rose Cotena Alonge. She was employed by United Way.

Survivors include three children, John McGrath (Angela) of Chuluota, Florida, Michael McGrath (Kay) of Fargo, North Dakota, and Bertram McGrath of East Grand Forks, Minnesota; grandchildren, Gabrielle Walther (Robert), Molly McGrath, Matthew Fix, Bertram McGrath Jr. (Dominique), Tabitha McGrath and Sarah Clews (Joshua); great-grandchildren, Rylee Walther and Luna McGrath; a brother, Andrew Alonge (Gail) of Homestead, Florida; and a sister, Michelle Wygant (Gary) of Harpursville, New York.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sumter SPCA, 1140 S. Guignard Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
