Anthony Andre "Tony" Cox, 57, died on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
Born on Nov. 2, 1964, in Miami, Florida, he was a son of Patsy Sylvia Nunnery Grant and the late William Cox.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, William Grant; two sons; a daughter; five grandchildren; four brothers, Dennis Cox, Michael Cox, Roger Cox and Mitchell Cox; two sisters, Sandra Burrows (Arthur) and Tammy Moye (Emmett); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Sumter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the home of Roger Cox, 1505 Nancy Court, Sumter.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
