LOGANVILLE, Georgia — Allie Lee Stuckey Bundy, a devoted mother, grandmother and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, she later attended the University of South Carolina and lived a life guided by faith, compassion and service. For over 20 years, she served faithfully as the financial secretary for Grace Baptist Church, where her integrity, kindness and steadfast commitment left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She loved traveling, found joy in working in her yard, and always had music playing in the background of her life. She was an avid crafter who enjoyed painting, knitting and creating beautiful pieces by hand. Volunteering at Tuomey Hospital was another expression of her giving heart, and she remained active in the community, often seen at the YMCA fitness center.
Her greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving son, Bryan Bundy of Atlanta, Georgia, and his late wife, Candace Bundy; her devoted daughter, Angela Bundy of Atlanta, Georgia; her brother, David Stuckey and his wife, Mary, of Lexington. She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren — Paula Daniels, Shannon Kurey, Alexander Bundy and Victoria Bundy, and a cherished great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren — Camila Daniels Gonzalez, Addison Bundy and Oliver Kurey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, F.L. Stuckey Jr. and Elizabeth Stuckey; her husband, high school sweetheart and lifelong soulmate of 54 years, Durwood Bundy; her in-laws, Clarence and Helen Bundy; her daughter-in-law, Candace Bundy; and her sister, Barbara Garrison of Columbia.
She will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her legacy will continue to live on through the lives she touched, the memories she created, and the example she set.
