Two COVID-19 vaccine clinics, one in Sumter County and the other in Clarendon County, are scheduled for next week and open for appointments.
On Wednesday, April 21, the state public health department will hold a clinic at Shiloh Community Center, 475 Puddin Swamp Road, in Lynchburg. Then on Thursday, April 22, DHEC will hold a clinic at Melina Presbyterian Church, 3539 Black River Road, in Gable.

All South Carolinians aged 16 and older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and can schedule appointments. Currently, Pfizer is the only vaccine available to those aged 16-18. Moderna is available to those aged 18 and older. DHEC has placed a pause on the J&J/Janssen distribution. Visit scdhec.gov/vaxlocator to see the locations accepting vaccination appointments.
