1 dead after single-vehicle wreck in Lee County

South Carolina Highway Patrol reported on Wednesday that one person died in a wreck that occurred on Sunday, May 4, about 2 a.m. on Springhill Road at Shiver Pond Road, 11 miles west of Manville.

A 2013 Nissan Altima was traveling south on Springhill Road, traveled off the right side of the road and struck an embankment, which overturned the vehicle. The single occupant of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital and succumbed to their injuries.
