BANKS - The Federal Reserve will be closed Monday. Area banks and credit unions typically follow the Federal Reserve holiday closing schedule, but it is recommended that readers verify the holiday hours of their particular financial institution.

GOVERNMENT - The following will be closed Monday: federal government offices, U.S. Postal Service, state government offices, City of Sumter offices, Sumter County offices, Clarendon County offices, City of Manning offices; Lee County offices; and Bishopville City Hall.

SCHOOLS - All area public and private schools will be closed Monday.

UTILITIES - Black River Electric Coop. and FTC will be closed Monday.

OTHER - All branches of the Sumter County Library will be closed Saturday through Monday. Clemson Extension Service and the Greater Sumter Chamber of Commerce will be closed Monday.

The Sumter Item will be closed Monday.
