Walter "Bro" Carter entered eternal rest on May 5, 2018, at 313 Church St., Sumter.
The family is receiving friends at 13 Pine St., Sumter.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Lee Central High School Auditorium, 1800 Wisacky Highway, Bishopville, with Pastor Walter Washington of Macedonia Holiness Church, Timmonsville, officiating. Interment will follow at Hawkins Cemetery, Lynchburg.
Wilson Funeral Home, 403 S. Main St., Bishopville, is in charge of the arrangements.
