Two Manning women charged in June 24 assault in Sumter County

According to a news release from Sumter County Sheriff's Office, Nekeia Nicola Dingle, 36, of Dickson Street in Manning, and Martina Denise Pearson, 31, of Meagen Lane in Manning, were both arrested on Friday and charged with third degree assault and battery for allegedly punching and kicking a woman in the face, head and body on June 24 while in the 1800 block of U.S. Highway 15 South in Sumter County.
The victim suffered injuries and was transported to Palmetto Health Tuomey for treatment, states the release.
