He was born on Jan. 3, 1945, in the Wilson community of Clarendon County, a son of the late Simuel and Ada Dozier King.
Funeral services for Mr. King will be held at noon on Thursday at William's Chapel Christian Church, 1072 Forest Trail, Manning, with the Rev. William J. Frierson Sr., presiding, the Rev. Emanuel Evans, pastor, officiating, and the Rev. David Woods and Evangelist Willette Gaiters assisting. Burial will follow at the churchyard cemetery.
