On today's show, we revisit a segment we teased earlier in the week about Sumter School District's own Teacher of the Year, Zachariah Lowe. The sixth- and eighth-grade social studies teacher at Mayewood Middle School in rural eastern Sumter County is one of the five finalists for State Teacher of the Year, and State Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman surprised him in his class with the announcement.

Congratulations Zachariah!

Check it out!
