SUSAN ELLA MELLETTE

Susan Ella Mellette, 82, widow of Cleveland Mellette, departed this life on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at her residence.

She was born on Sept. 10, 1935, in Clarendon County, a daughter of the late Timothy and Alethia Wilder Richburg.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Mrs. Mellette will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. on Saturday for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with the Rev. Tonie Mellette officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary & Zion Hill Cemetery in Pinewood.

The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Josephine and Calvin Hardy, 6365 Cougar Way, Wedgefield.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
