Sumter SPCA's fundraising sale will be Saturday morning

The Sumter SPCA will host a used items sale beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Elaine D. Korn Memorial Center next to the SPCA, 1140 S. Guignard Drive. The organization does not receive any funding from the local, state or federal government but depends on donations and fundraisers for its operating expenses.

On sale will be " ... many items in excellent, very good, good and fair condition for a fraction of the cost in retail or specialty stores," according to sale organizers. Among them will be furniture, pet crates, collectibles and many other items. All proceeds from this sale will go directly to support the Sumter SPCA.
