Sumter native named tax manager in Columbia
Dustin Scott has joined McGregor & Co., LLP, as a tax manager and will be working out of its Columbia office according to a news release. Originally from Sumter, Scott is a CPA and an IRS enrolled agent. He graduated from Presbyterian College in May 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and completed his Master of Business Administration-Accounting at Winthrop University. Scott is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.With four locations across the state, McGregor & Co., LLP, has offices in Columbia, Orangeburg, Barnwell and Greenville. Services provided include audit and assurance, tax and small business consulting for a variety of nonprofit and health care organizations, automobile dealerships, real estate entities, governmental entities, and other commercial entities in addition to individual income, estate and gift tax preparation and planning.
