Sumter man, 49, charged with possession of stolen shoes

Sumter County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 49-year-old man on Saturday for allegedly possessing three pairs of Jordan tennis shoes that were reportedly stolen.

Mack Paul, of U.S. 521 South, is charged with receiving stolen goods after deputies found the shoes in his possession on Friday, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

A witness also gave a written statement that Paul sold him four Cadillac wheels that were reportedly stolen, states the release.
