Sumter County Sheriff's Office arrests man, woman for alleged attempt to sell stolen property

Sumter County Sheriff's Office arrested a woman and man on Wednesday for allegedly making plans to sell stolen property.

Shari Lynn Tisdale, 56, of 60 Haley Ave., and Brandon Lin Burgess, 31, of 1025 E. Brewington Road, were arrested pursuant to a warrant issued on Wednesday after the two allegedly conspired to sell a reportedly stolen 20-foot-long Black Dog utility trailer valued at $3,716, according to a news release.

Tisdale and Burgess were transported to Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center and are both charged with criminal conspiracy and accessory after the fact of a felony.
