Sumter County detention officer arrested by SLED

A Sumter County detention officer was arrested by SLED Wednesday afternoon, according to Sumter County Sheriff's Office.
The officer is being held at Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center, said Ken Bell, public information officer for the sheriff's office.
Details about the arrest will be released at a later time by SLED.
