Committee members will discuss the district's preliminary June 30 financial report, which will show how it closed the 2017-18 fiscal year, according to the agenda.
In late June, then-interim district finance director Bill Mabry detailed the district projected to end the fiscal year with a net income - or surplus - of about $5.2 million. That would raise the district's ending general fund balance as of June 30, 2018, to about $6 million, Mabry said.
Also, according to Thursday's agenda, district administration will discuss with the committee the July 31 financial report.
Thursday's Finance Committee meeting will be the first for new district Chief Financial Officer Jennifer Miller, who started her position on July 16.
