SAM TINDAL

Sam Tindal was born on March 28, 1954 in Sumter to the late Grover and Willie Mae Tindal. He departed this life on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.

He received his education from Portchester High School in New York City. He later furthered his education and received his Marine and Diesel Mechanics, air condition and welding while serving in the military as a lance corporal.

He leaves to cherish his fianc , Beatrice Gadson of Sumter; his daughters, Michelle (Kahan) Qatazap of Wilmington, North Carolina, Latoya (Micheal) Wright of Sumter, Krystia (Maya) Tindal of Delaware, Dominique (Ryan) of Delaware, Sheneal Gadson, Wendy Mitch Millerson, both of Sumter and Chavella and Darnell of Charleston; 20 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Public viewing will be held tomorrow from 2-6 p.m. at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Tindal will be placed in the church on Tuesday at 1 p.m. for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Westend Community Church with the Rev. Robinson officiating.

Family will receive friends at the home, 1087 Cherryvale Drive, Lot D, Sumter, SC.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
