Returning to normal: Sumter, Lee, Clarendon schools, other organizations to open Friday

Here is a list of what will be open on Friday, Oct. 12 after Hurricane Michael has left Sumter, Lee and Clarendon counties.

Shaw Air Force Base will return to normal operating duty status on Friday.

All Clarendon School District 2 schools will be open Friday.

Laurence Manning Academy will resume normal school hours and bus routes Friday.

Lee County School District will be open on a regular schedule Friday.

Sumter School District officials had said classes and after-school activities would return to normal Friday unless otherwise announced.

USC Sumter will be open Friday.

The City of Sumter and Sumter County Government will be open for normal business hours on Friday.
