REGINA WITHERSPOON

WEDGEFIELD - Regina Witherspoon, 41, was born on April 28, 1977, in New Haven, Connecticut, to the late John and Sally McFadden Witherspoon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Pearly, Ann and JoAnn Witherspoon and Elizabeth Scott; and three brothers, John, Johnny and Willie Witherspoon.

Regina departed this life on Thursday, May 3, 2018, in Sumter.

Regina leaves to cherish her memory: eight sisters, Mary Smith, Barbara Witherspoon, Lauralee (Earl) Hylton, Cynthia (Ronald) Richardson, Sally (Sammie) Johnson, Geneva (Ron) Perkins, Annette Scott and Carrie Jones; eight brothers, Samuel (Tiffany) Witherspoon, Henry (Calandra) Witherspoon, Arthur Lee Witherspoon, Billy Scott, Tony Witherspoon, Steven (Charlette) Witherspoon, Matthew Witherspoon and Arthur Witherspoon; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. Paul Holiness Church, 129 1/2 W. Moore St., Sumter, with Elder Barrington Pierson, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul Holiness Church Cemetery.

A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.
