Man charged in 2 separate burglaries of same location

Amos Gibson Jr., 45, of 401 Burnside Drive, Apt. 120, Columbia, was arrested on May 10 and charged with second and third degree burglary for allegedly taking two chainsaws valued at about $480 from a pool house in the 1790 block of East Brewington Road on March 12; and taking beer valued at about $5 from a pool house in the 1790 block of East Brewington Road.

Lloyd A. Tainter Jr., 51, of Joe Billy Road, Gable, was arrested on Friday and charged with third degree domestic violence for allegedly assaulting a victim while in the 5100 block of Joe Billy Road, Gable.

James A. Stoudemire II, 22, of 954 Saint Julien Drive, Eutawville, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with second degree burglary for allegedly taking a video camera valued at $200 from a church in the 4000 block of U.S. 15 South between Feb. 13, 2017 and Feb. 14.

Laurestina A. Dingle, 34, of 1033 Leflore Drive, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and malicious injury to personal property after she allegedly hit a woman about the body with a baseball bat and twice attempted to run over the victim with a vehicle while in the 5400 block of Broad Street. According to a news release from Sumter County Sheriff's Office, the victim sustained bruising to her side and upper body. Dingle also reportedly used a baseball bat to break the windshield of the victim's vehicle and hit the exterior of the vehicle.

Barbara Ann Delles, 37, of 5785 Shamrock Drive, Wedgefield, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with forgery and breach of trust with fraudulent intent after she allegedly forged counterfeit checks in the amount of $10,148.44 at a business located in the 3300 block of Wilton Drive between March 1 and May 1. According to a news release from Sumter County Sheriff's Office, Delles allegedly used a company debit card to obtain $21,026.92 without consent while in the 3300 block of Wilton Drive between May 1 and March 1.

STOLEN PROPERTY

A 52-inch Emerson flat-screen TV valued at $400 and a jewelry box containing approximately $500 in jewelry and mementos were reported stolen from a residence in the 1900 block of North Saint Pauls Church Road about 4 p.m. on Friday.

A black .45-caliber firearm, unknown make and model, valued at $250; a black .9-caliber firearm, unknown make and model, valued at $400; and $50 in cash were reportedly stolen from a residence in the 500 block of Bowen Drive between 1:30 and 11 p.m. on Saturday.

A silver 2015 Toyota Tundra valued at $34,000 was reportedly stolen while it was parked at an auto dealership in the 3600 block of Broad Street on Monday.

A 40-inch Samsung TV valued at $400; 50 rock and roll albums valued at $50; three PlayStation consoles valued at $200 each; a DeWalt hammer drill with a flashlight valued at $325; a drill, unknown brand, valued at $45; and a Stihl chainsaw $400 were reportedly stolen from a residence on Bland Avenue between Sunday and Tuesday.

DAMAGED PROPERTY

Approximately $1,500 in damage was caused to a residence in the 300 block of Church Street when part of a window was reportedly broken with an unknown object between Monday and Tuesday.
